![]() ![]() In raystorm though, it feels more like you're hanging from the top of the screen from your laser like its a string. But if a bullet is fired at you, and you tap left and then let go, the bullet still passes you. The movement is just the screen moving to catch up with you since you can go very far left and very far right. You can move far to the left, and then the screen moves over slightly later so that you're in the middle again, but if there are any enemies/little floating islands/anything else on the screen at the time, you can see that you don't move back with respect to their position. ![]() But they do both feel kind of awkward.īut axelay doesn't do the same thing as raystorm. I definitely consider both of them to be shmups.
